2025-05-23 A new beginning

New blog but not quite new blogger

I am not new to the blogging space but have been on a very long hiatus from this online practice known as blogging.

With this respin of a personal blog space, my hope this time around is to stay more focused on topics and subjects around flavors of BSD OS (FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD).

One thing that has surprised me in 2025 is just how difficult it is to find a hosting service that truly is BSD-powered through and through. As far as I know (at least at the time of this posting), none of the major cloud providers can claim BSD turtles all the way down. My hopes for this blog are to walk the walk (or at least trying to) while doing the talk when it comes to BSD related things.

More to come.
